James: It’s always nice to watch the NBA games up close!

Jenny: Yeah, I’m having so much fun, but I have to yell whenever I need to talk to you!

James: It’s getting louder! I hope we don’t have to keep shouting at each other!

Jenny: I can’t really hear what you are saying! What did you say?

James: Never mind!

Jenny: Good idea! Let’s talk during the break!

James: 농구장 앞줄에 앉아 게임을 보는 게 제일이라니까!

Jenny: 응, 너무 재미있는걸! 근데 너랑 이야기할 때 계속 고함을 지르게 돼.

James 더 시끄러워질 텐데! 이렇게 계속 소리 질러야 되는 거야?

Jenny: 잘 안 들려. 뭐라고?

James: 나중에 말하자!

Jenny: 그래! 쉬는 시간에 이야기하자고!

Yell은 ‘고함치다’ ‘외치다’라는 동사며 ‘loud’는 ‘시끄러운’이라는 뜻의 형용사입니다.

loud: 소리가 큰

yell: 고함치다

shout: 외치다
