Susan: It seems Sony’s PlayStation Portable is becoming more than just a handheld game console.

Chan: You mean because it`s capable of playing movies?

Susan: Yes. Sony uses Universal Media Discs to play video, which are similar to DVDs, but have features that prevent pirating.

Chan: That’s probably one reason the studios are consigning the movies to Sony in that format… UMDs can`t be copied so easily.

Susan: I guess Universal Studios is the latest to release titles specifically for the Sony PSP.

수잔: 응. 소니에서는 영상재생에 유니버셜 미디어 디스크, UMD를 사용한다고 해. UMD는 DVD와 비슷한 걸로 불법복제방지 기능이 있지.

찬: 아마 영화 제작사들이 그런 포맷으로 소니에 영화를 제공하는 중 하나가 거기에 있을 걸. UMD는 그리 쉽게 복제할 수 없으니.

수잔: 가장 최근에 특별히 소니의 PSP를 위한 영화를 선보이는 곳으로는 유니버셜 스튜디오인 걸로 알고 있어.
