Chan: Susan, do you know which country has the highest number of personal computers in the world?

Susan: Well, I’d say the United States.

Chan: That’s right. There are over 223 million PCs in the States, out of 820 million worldwide.

Susan: Japan probably has the second highest. And where did Korea rank?

Chan: Japan is second, and Korea is seventh, with 26.2 million computers. This is according to the Computer Industry Almanac Inc. calculations for last year.

찬: 수잔, 세계에서 개인용 컴퓨터 보유대수가 가장 많은 나라가 어디인지 아니?

수잔: 음, 미국일 것 같은데.

찬: 맞아. 전 세계의 8억2000만 대 컴퓨터 중 2억2300만대가 미국에 있다는 군.

수잔: 그 다음으로는 일본이 많을 것 같은데. 한국은 몇 위였어?

찬: 일본이 2위고, 한국은 총 2620만대의 컴퓨터로 7위를 차지했대. 컴퓨터 인더스트리 알마낙이 작년에 통계를 낸 수치에 따르면 말이야.
