　A new line of printers, digital cameras and photo paper was introduced Monday by Hewlett-Packard Co. The Palo Alto firm claims it will offer images that surpass the quality and fade resistance of traditional photographic prints.

　The printers offer resolutions of up to 4800-optimized dpi. HP said when the printers are used in conjunction with its enhanced Premium Plus Photo papers and its new ink cartridges, the images resist fading for up to 73 years, more than twice the life of traditional prints.

HP’s new digital cameras HP offer resolutions ranging from 2.1-megapixels to 3.3-megapixels. All three feature HP Instant Share technology, an Internet-based software application that allows for quick and easy sharing of digital photos with friends and family.
