　The news said the temperature will drop

Jenny: Could you tell me how to get to the mall you mentioned?

Jamie: It`s so easy. All you have to do is get on the green bus and get off at the second stop.

Jenny: How long is the bus ride?

Jamie: It`ll take you less than 10 minutes.

Jenny: Less than 10 minutes? Wow, it must be really close. But the news said temperature will drop again dramatically… I might get lazy and go on another day.

Jamie: Yeah, but remember the `blowout` sale ends today!

Jenny: 그때 말하던 쇼핑센터 어떻게 가는지 좀 그르쳐 줄래?

Jamie: 정말 쉬워. 초록색 버스를 타고 가다가 두 번째 정류장에서 내리면 되.

Jenny: 거기까지 얼마나 걸려?

Jamie: 10분도 안 걸려.

Jenny: 10분 미만이라고? 가깝나 보네. 오늘 뉴스 보니까 온도가 또 떨어진데… 추우면 내일 갈까 생각중이야.

Jamie: 오늘이 세일 마지막 날 인 건 염두에 둬!

get on/get off: 탈것에 올라타다/내리다

drop: 온도가 내려가다, 물건을 땅에 떨어트리다

놀이기구나 버스, 지하철에서 올라타고 내릴 때 get on, get off를 사용합니다. 한편 물건을 땅바닥에 떨어뜨리거나 온도가 갑자기 확 내려감을 말할 때에는 drop이란 단어를 사용하세요.
