99달러(16GB)/149달러(32GB)라는 헐값 때문에 전 세계적으로 불고 있는 HP 터치패드의 열기가 무료 앱으로 이어지고 있다. HP 웹OS 팀이 터치패드 사용자들을 대상으로 6가지 유료 앱을 무료로 제공하겠다고 나선 것이다.
HP 팜 웹OS 팀은 25일(현지시각) 공식 블로그를 통해 총 14.99달러 어치의 6가지 앱을 일정 기간 동안 무료로 사용할 수 있도록 할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
이번에 무료로 제공 앱은 멀티태스킹, 카메라, 조류 소개, 게임 등이다. 사용자들은 가격 옆에 표시되어 있는 코드를 입력하면 무료로 해당 앱을 내려받을 수 있다.
앱 6종 및 무료 코드는 다음과 같다.
1. Glimpse (Inglorious Apps, $5, injoj55410gavxv): Amp up your TouchPad multitasking to 11 using this customizable and addictive split-screen interface.
2. Kung Fu Panda 2 Storybook (zuuka, $2.99, eotss76676jjzqr): Enjoy images and voices from Kung Fu Panda 2 right on your TouchPad.
3. Big Boss (Fair Play Labs, $1.99, vfimk09918lngoz): Design your “Boss” – a gigantic monster – and attempt to defeat the brave heroes and powerful wizards of WackyLands.
