　Work dinner

Luke는 이미 여러가지 한국 음식을 접해 봐서 한국 음식에 별 두려움이 없습니다. 하지만 불닭을 먹는다면 과연 어떻게 될까요?

“아무도 빠지는 사람이 없도록 해!”라고 말할 때

“No one should miss!”

Boss: Work dinner tonight at 7 P.M. and we are going to my favorite place. Luke, you are so going to love it! No one should miss tonight and be prepared!

Luke: What’s there to prepare for the dinner? Is it something shocking? Where does he take us to?

Wendy: Oh, man, you are so dead tonight. He is taking us to a buldak restaurant, which is extremely spicy chicken place. I feel my eyes and ears fall off when I eat it. That’s how spicy it is.

Luke: Well, it definitely doesn’t sound friendly for my tummy.

Boss: 오늘 저녁 7시 전체 회식! 내가 제일 좋아하는 곳으로 가자고. Luke, 자네도 이 음식을 좋아하게 될 거야! 오늘밤 아무도 빠지면 안 돼. 준비들 잘 하라고.

Luke: 저녁 먹을 때 준비할 게 있어? 놀랄 만한 건가? 어디로 가는데?

Wendy: 이런, 넌 오늘 밤에 죽었다! 사장님은 우릴 데리고 불닭 집에 가는데, 그게 엄청 매운 닭 요리거든. 먹을 때마다 눈이랑 귀가 떨어져 나가는 것 같아. 그렇게 맵다는 거지.

Luke: 흠. 듣자 하니 내 위가 좋아할 만한 음식 같진 않군!

불닭 집에서 둘러앉아 음식을 먹고 있습니다만 매운 음식을 피하려는 Luke만의 비법이 있군요.

Wendy: Ewww, that’s gross. What are you doing that for? I would rather not eat it.

Luke: (washing off the spices in the water) Well, I like chicken, but not so spicy chicken, that’s all. This is not the end of process. I am going to dip this chicken in the coke and then the chicken will be more sweetened.

Wendy: I totally lost my appetite, thanks dear.

Wendy: 욱∼, 더러워. 지금 대체 뭐 하는 거야? 난 차라리 안 먹고 말겠다.

Luke: (물에 양념을 씻으며) 난 원래 닭고기를 좋아해, 그냥 단지 매운 닭고기가 싫을 뿐이야. 그리고 이게 끝이 아니야. 이걸 콜라에 담갔다가 먹으면 단맛이 더해진다니까.

Wendy: 덕분에 입맛이 다 떨어졌어!
