Chan:Susan, why are you touching your cell phone screen with your finger?

Susan:It’s my new phone, Chan! Look, I can write messages with my finger or a stylus-directly on the screen. I can even draw pictures.

Chan:Interesting. Do you find it`s more convenient than text messaging?

Susan:It feels more personal, more creative.

Chan:And, you’ll be able to write messages in other languages.

Susan:Good point, Chan. I can practice writing my Chinese characters. I think I’ll send a message to my friend in Shanghai.

찬:수잔, 휴대폰 화면을 왜 손가락으로 만지고 있는 거지?

수잔:이거 새로 장만한 전화야. 찬, 봐봐, 이렇게 화면에 손가락이나 펜으로 직접 메시지를 쓸 수 있어. 그림도 그릴 수 있다고.

찬:거 흥미로운데. 그럼 메시지를 입력하는 경우보다 더 편한 것 같아?

수잔:이건 좀 더 친밀하고도, 더 독창적인 걸로 느껴지지.

찬:그리고, 다른 나라말로도 메시지를 쓸 수 있게 되겠군.

수잔:바로 그거야, 찬. 여기에다 한자 쓰는 연습도 할 수 있지. 상하이에 있는 내 친구에게 문자나 보내볼까···
